Hi, I’m sending to all guests these general information about coming from:
1. with a car on A1 highway: I guess that you know how to go on Croatian highway A1 toward the tunnel sv. Ilija through the mountain Biokovo (near Zagvozd)? Just follow signs for Makarska direction (it will appears after you pass Split). From that tunnel you exit directly to Makarska Riviera (road goes down to the big circle – rotor), and you go toward Makarska (turn on the left on the big rotor down). After you pass Makarska and Tučepi, next comes Podgora sign on the road (it marks a municipality border) and soon after that sign comes “Podgora center” sign. But you don’t drive to the right from the sign and down to the center, just forward ahead on the main road named “Jadranska magistrala” and look at blue bridges. First blue bridge (blue fence) is immediately after “Podgora center” sign, and further more ahead is second one. You must stop before that second blue bridge (blue fence on the bridge) on the right side in front of our renting house. Then call me ++385 98 9121 567 and I’m coming. That is the top of the renting house where is your apartment and from there you have only few stairs down to enter into your apartment (there writes the address Marka Marulica 24). Just don’t go further, over the bridge (after the bridge is LUKOIL gasoline station from the left, and bus station from the right). If you make mistake, you can still turn around the bus station (switch off the road to the right just before that bus station, behind the station go ahead where is little road from where you can turn back left to the main road and back to the bridge) and stop after the bridge on the left side (from that direction). Be careful because there is full line on the road to the left and a right curve ahead to Makarska. Maybe you can pass the road on the Google map to be familiar with this area. I’m here for all your questions.
2. by intercity bus from Split or from Split’s airport: on the Split’s airport drives a bus to Split’s main bus station. There you can buy a ticket to Podgora (tell a seller that it is 6 km south from Makarska), it costs cca 10 Euros/person. In the bus, ask a driver to stop across the LUKOIL gasoline station over Podgora city (tell it to driver in the beginning, to not miss that station) on Podgora bus station on Adriatic road (Jadranska magistrala). There you must get off the bus, and return back over the bridge with blue fence (it is across the LUKOIL station). After that bridge, first house on the left side is top of our renting house (there writes the address Marka Marulica 24) and then call me on my mob ++385 98 9121567, and I’m coming.
3. by local bus from Makarska city bus station (it drives on a full hour, I suppose): buy a ticket to Podgora and ask a driver that you need to get off the bus at (or across) LUKOIL gasoline station on Jadranska magistrala (Adriatic road). Then come across the bridge (toward Makarska direction) and first house on the left is the top of our renting house.
Airports
60 km in Split, from the Split airport goes bus directly to the Split main city bus station where you can buy a ticket to the Podgora (6 km southern from Makarska). Tell your bus driver to stop on “Jadranska magistrala road, bus station of Podgora” and come back 100 meters back across the bridge to the first house on the left side after you pass that bridge. Only few steps down more and you are in your apartment.

Local buses from the Split airport toward Dubrovnik, taxis (prices are from 130 Euros…if you need, we can manage contact number for you).
